Greetings. I have been retained by The Phoenix to periodically update this blog with tidbits of information regarding the goings on at this fine Cincinnati establishment. So to start things off, we thought it might be useful to begin with a Special. A Halloween Special for tomorrow night only.

Let's face it. Unless you have little ones at home, or have way too much time on your hands and can spend hours dressing up to resemble The Joker or Peter Pan or Obama for purposes of convincing yourself that you aren't getting older, Halloween is a big inconvenience. When the veritable army of brats sweet little neighborhood kids comes to your door, you either have to pretend you are not home, hiding upstairs with all the lights out in hopes of discouraging the foraging herds, or you have to suck it up and hand out candy to kids who have no reticence about telling you EXACTLY how lame it is to hand out 3 Musketeers bars instead of Snickers. Candy not provided by the government (yet) but by your own hard earned funds that could have been used on booze and weekend football parlays.

That's where we come in. Don't dress up like a fool tomorrow night. Don't hide upstairs. Come to The Phoenix for dinner and we'll give you a $25 gift card (valid tomorrow only - 1 card per couple) towards dinner for two. When you factor in that you don't have to buy $25 worth of candy that's like a $50 savings. That's all there is to it. Show up for dinner and each couple gets a $25 card. The only restrictions are that it must be used tomorrow night (October 31) and the gift card can pay for no more than 50% of the bill. Sorry, you can't sit at the bar and have three glasses of wine and then have us pick up the tab. Not that anyone would try or anything.
