We're Havin' a Hoedown!

Friday, August 28th. Mark your calendars.
What's a hoedown? Well, at The Phoenix it's a rootin' tootin' end of summer BBQ with sumptuous summer fare with menu selections including:

BBQ Babyback Ribs
BBQ Beef Brisket
BBQ Half Chicken
Creole Style Catfish
Pulled Pork BBQ
Gumbo
Spicy Slaw
BBQ Baked Beans
Redskin Potato Salad
Southern Style Green Beans
Peach Cobbler ala mode
and other really tasty stuff.

The bar will be open at 5pm and we'll be serving dinner from 5pm until 9pm. To avoid chaos we WILL be accepting reservations for parties of all sizes.

The dress for this evening will be country casual, with blue jeans and cowboy boots as appropriate attire (but certainly not required).

The complete menu with pricing will be posted by Thursday evening of this week. This post is just to give you all a heads up so you can start making some plans, inviting friends and neighbors, etc.
